DAMPER

DAMPER TYPE BUFFLE CONTROL

The Damper type is designed to mechanically adjust the temperature of a cell, by partly opening the flap which adjusts the flow of a specified cold air quantity. It does not pilot the compressor electric circuit.

APPLICATIONS
The Damper type is used on domestic refrigerators operating at forced air circulation (no frost) and on all the refrigerator appliances where the cell temperature must be maintained constant and static.

CONSTRUCTIONAL FEATURES
Damper type thermostats are compact, robust, and small in size. All their components are made in conformance to Directive 2002/95/CE R0HS, and in particular they have no Cr VI, while the gas used is CFC FREE in compliance with environmental standards. The capillary tubes are made of copper with 3µ tin finishing. There is a Ø 6.5 probe that is 133 mm long on the end. the length of the capillary including the probe depends on usage needs.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Working temperatures: from –20°C to +35°C
Settings range: max 25°C (as per the OPERATING TEMPERATURES sheet).
Damper switching area: maximum opening for the air flow is 54mm x 28mm= 1512 square mm.
Each mm increase in value Δ corresponds to an increase in air flow equal to 134 square mm up to a maximum of 1804 square mm (11 x 164).
These thermostats are not subject to “cross ambient” effects because of the liquid they contain.
